Story
Hello shiny new trainers, blisters and carb-loading. Goodbye social life, cartilage in my knees and any shred of dignity! On the 22nd April I will be running, walking and crawling the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon.
And this is why...
I am running in the memory of James Buckle who we lost following his fight with cancer in October last year, at the age of 28. I will be raising money for the Institute of Cancer Research which partners with The Royal Marsden, where James received treatment. All donations are vital to the ICR and in making progress in the ongoing fight against cancer. Please do read the blurb on the right to appreciate just why the work that the ICR does is so vital.
Thank you so much for your support and if you are in London on the day (22 April), I'll be the one losing a race with the Rhino!
