We are an animal rescue charity working to improve the lives of stray cats and the people in our communities – at our shelter near Athens, Greece.

In the last years, the average daily cost of looking after an animal in our care has increased by 55%.

Our monthly budget amounts to approximately €33,300 covering the operation of our two locations (our main shelter and a smaller foster home).

Daily running costs for volunteers and staff include:

Cat and dog food supplies

Ongoing veterinary expenses

Medicines and various treatments (flea, worming etc.)

Animal care supplies (litter, blankets, cat and dog houses and beds, toys, etc.)

Household supplies (cleaning products, appliances, garden maintenance, house repairs, protective netting, etc.)

Food and accommodation for our volunteers and interns

Fuel and maintenance for our shelter vehicle

Utility bills

Staff salaries

Fire extinguishers and other shelter safety equipment

Repairs

Other essential operational costs
