The Leanne fund makes a difference to families All across Scotland and are the foremost charity working with individuals with cystic fibrosis. They provide social, practical, emotional and financial support to the whole family. CF is one of the most common life threatening inherited diseases affecting over 10,500 people in the uk, that’s 1 in every 2,500 babies born.

Myself, my mum, my brother and my girlfriend Nicole all want to help raise funds for the Leanne fund to help make a difference across the Highlands, Islands and Grampian regions of Scotland. This charity means a lot to me now as early last year I lost my best friend who had this disease in a car accident, although not directly from the CF he had overcame boundaries in his life that we all take for granted. For anyone who knew Kyle knows that whenever you were in a room with him you were constantly laughing or smiling whether be something he said or did. He was always cracking the jokes and never had a smile off his face and that’s why he is known now as “the lad with the unforgettable smile”
