I am taking part in the London Triathlon this year in memory of a very special little girl to raise money for a charity that means a lot to myself and the Hatchley family - Great Ormond street hospital.

Emma Hatchley was a patient on cardiac intensive care for a long time and touched many hearts during her stay with us. So when I was approached by one of our consultants asking if i'd be prepared to take part in the triathlon - How could I refuse!!

All of the money raised on behalf of the Rosebud appeal will be much appreciated by everyone in cardiac services and help to improve the quality of life of many children and their families.
