Story
Hello and thank you for clicking onto my fundraising page.
Well the first shock to confirm is that your eyes don't deceive you, I am actually running in this years London Marathon. I know, I still can't believe it myself!
In all honesty this is one of those boxes I always wanted to tick and I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to run for the British Heart Foundation this year, a charity very close to my heart (no pun intended) as my Dad died of a heart attack 11 years ago and as a disease effects most families in one way or another in the UK.
So besides running 26.2 miles I also need to raise £2000.00. Sounds easy really doesn't it? Well for you it is because, all you have to do is make a small donation on this page. Me however I am training very hard in the wind and rain, wearing some new trainers which are quite frankly hideous!
In all seriousness your donation really does make a big difference. Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer so by making a donation you are helping me, help the British Heart Foundation lead the fight against it. Their pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions and this work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments, that are helping to change the UK’s fight against heart disease.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and sponsoring me, I can't begin to explain how grateful a I am.
Now just wish me luck, I might need a little of that!
