Myself & Ryan are running the swansea half marathon in aid of Maggies Cancer Care Swansea. I'm sure everyone is aware of the great job they do. And most, if not all of us have themselves or know someone effected by this disease.

After reading Lloyd's bit (above) I had to to google PB... apparently it stands for "Personal Best" as in Marathon Time not "Pot Belly... now you can get a picture of which ones the athlete here...

So we are running Swansea Half In aid of Maggies Cancer Care In Swansea and ALL the money pledged will go directly to them via this JustGiving page. We have entered independently and paid our own entry fees so 100% of what is raised goes directly to this fantastic cause. Furthermore as Lloyd signed off above we are running as Smurfs!

Disclaimer* anyone born around the 80's or cough cough 1977 may remember Smurfs as short blue happy cartoons creatures.. not 6ft-ers (Lloyd) or custard slice specialists (Ry) do not attempt to pet or feed these creatures and keep them away from Peroni (Lloyd) or Guinness (Ry) til after the event!!

As Lloyd said above we have all lost family or friends or seen them suffer to the most cruel of diseases.

It has personally robbed us of time spent with loved ones from my side & my Louise's side of the family (inlaws & outlaws)...

In memory of my Mams, Louise's Mamma, and now both Grandads... cruel irony Carl was diagnosed & passed away on the same day of Swansea Half Marathon fundraiser...

All gone too soon always in our Hearts...

I'll try keep this page open a few wks for collecting outstanding pledges after the events.. Lloyd recently ran both Manchester and London full Marathons! I also completed Tenby's Marathon on July 9th a few days after my 40th...
