Story
As part of my 'before I turn 40' bucket list I had planned to run the London Marathon. I was lucky enough to get accepted in 2018 but unfortunately due to a succession of injuries (due to being tragically unfit!) I had to defer my entry. 12 months later (and now 40!) I am now well on course to make the start line of the 2019 London Marathon!
I have chosen to raise money for Weldmar, a local Dorset charity that provides end of life care for patients with a range of conditions that need specialist care. They rely on 75% of their funding coming through local fundraising so every penny they receive is vital.
Sadly many of us will need the care and support of organisations such as Weldmar if not for ourselves then for loved ones. If you can make any donation no matter how big or small it will be greatly received and put to fantastic use.
