Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am dieting to raise money for Cancer Research UK - i have been dieting now for just over 4 weeks and have already lost 12 1/2lbs, but I still have a long way to go. 

Almost a year ago I lost two very good friends to cancer, both diagnosed within a couple of weeks of each other, both dying within a week of each other and both being buried on the same day.  

Cancer is a horrible illness and is not picky;  we all know someone who has lost someone to the disease or have in fact lost someone to the illness themselves.

I am dieting because i need to, but least I am fit, healthy and here to do it!!
