We provide quality care to help people thrive after a brain injury

Story

Eastfields is the latest addition of the Brain injury Rehabilitation  Trust based in Scotland.

We provide the best quality neurobehavioral for adults with complex and challenging needs following brain injury.  At our Eastfields service we ultimately want to enable Service Users to participate in life as fully as possible, needing the latest possible assistance.

Service User Duncan was 17 when he sustained a serious brain injury whilst in a car accident, he moved to brain injury rehabilitation trust (Graham Anderson House) in 2012 then moved to the new development in November 2015.  Duncan is a keen cyclist and is taking the challenge to cycle from Eastfield's to the Falkirk Wheel which is approx. 20 miles supported by Support Worker Mark O'Donnell who is also a keen cyclist.

This is a flat, traffic free cycle route from the busy city of Glasgow through surprisingly tranquil countryside to the canal- side town of Kirkintilloch to the iconic 21st century landmark, the Falkirk Wheel.

Duncan decided that he would like to do more fro people suffering with a brain injury and has decided to help raise awareness and money for BIRT (Eastfields)
