Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 11th of October this year - I plan on running the Royal Parks Half Marathon through the beautiful parks of London.

I never really ran for a cause I felt connected to and when I came across this organization, Meningitis Now - I knew this was the charity I wanted to run for.

In March 2014, I lost my cousin to Meningitis. It was very unexpected and devastating. I was unaware of this disease and I know many people are too.

Meningitis can affect anyone. It is the inflammation of the membranes that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord and can be caused by different organisms, including bacteria and viruses.

In donating to this charity, you help people become aware of this disease, help with research and help those affected by it and help rebuild their lives.

Any little bit counts! And please share with your friends and family.

Thank you!
