We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Emma and I work together at S&S Plastics Ltd and after chatting one day about the enjoyment of challenging ourselves, we decided on signing up for the Robin Hood Half Marathon.  Although we both have done half marathon's before, it was a few years ago and we both knew we had some work to do!  Good news, so far the training is going well and to add to the challenge, we are looking to improve on our finishing time and share some personal bests.

So on Sunday 25th September 2016, we will be running 13.1 miles
for charity and looking for your support.

We all have our own stories and experiences when we think of Cancer, either someone fighting a battle, sharing a loss or you may even be dealing with the big 'C' word personally.  It's a horrible disease and unfortunately never seems to go away.

It’s 7 years ago this year when I lost my brother and not a day passes by
without me thinking about him!  Race day will be no different, but
hopefully we can celebrate the day knowing the money we have raised is helping some-one else to fight Cancer!
