Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 1st may 2012 Lauren Marie Hughes a beautiful, bubbly, amazing girl sadly lost her life, she was loved by so many people and only being 15 she managed to have such an influence on so many life's. Lauren's life was taken away from us too early because of an asthma attack she had which caused her to collapse. She was then rushed to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, the Children's intensive care unit, where the staff worked hard to try and save Lauren's life. They were caring, loving and did everything in their power to help both Lauren and her family.

I had the pleasure of teaching dance to Lauren, she was always so happy, very keen and no matter what always managed to make us all laugh. She played such a large role in mine and the other girls life's, which is why myself and my family would like to raise as much money as we can in memory of her. She will always be in our hearts & thoughts.

** In loving memory of Lauren Marie Hughes my dancing queen **

Over the passed years we have raised thousands of pounds for the charity, we have hosted a summer ball each year in memory of Lauren and they are still going strong. I have also ran Cardiff half Marathon and raised money that way. We are so grateful for all the support we have received over the past years and would like to thank every  single person who as donated money. Please see my other page from when I ran Cardiff half www.justgiving.com/Louise-Stephens3
