Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - all donations are in aid of Butterwick Hospice (Day Care) in Stockon.

I am sure those of you who know me well will remember I lost my Aunty to cancer back in November last year. Since then, I have been threatening to do my 'sponsored slim' thus raising funds for Butterwick Hospital in Stockton who supported Aunty Bren and her family during her treatment and throughout her last months.

Aunty Bren was one of the nicest, sincerest and most giving people I have ever known, 'family' was etched through her like a stick of seaside rock. She is sadly missed but very much in all of our hearts and thoughts.

It has been said that Julie (her daughter, my cousin) and I take after Aunty Bren with our love of the old 'vino' and it with this in mind that I am undertaking to abstain from booze for 12 weeks in the hope that along with embarking on the 'Lighter Life Program', I will be at least 3 stone lighter by the end of it! Start date 19th March (and it is coming off already)

I really don't mind how little (or how much), you would like to sponsor me, every penny helps raise funds for an amazing hospice so please, please give me some encouragement and help me raise £'s whilst losing pounds.

I will pop a graph of my weight loss each week so you can follow how much I am shrinking (as are the profits at my local pub !!!)
