Story
Over three days, starting on Friday 13th May, two of the Made of Ale team Steve Mills and Stephen Woods, are setting out from Shrewsbury on a 150km walk to Aberdovey in support of the Ukranian humanitarian effort.
We are all aware of the terrible conflict and how this is affecting regular people like you and us. Over two million people have fled their homes to escape the intense conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind loved ones,livelihoods and almost everything they own, they need shelter, food, and water.
We are planning on walking approx. 50km per day the two Steve's will be setting out from Shrewsbury early on Friday 13th May and aim to be in Aberdovey by the end of Sunday 16th May. Other members of the MOA team are planning to drop in to join us for segments of the walk and to keep morale up.
For us it is a daunting challenge however it is immediately put in to context against the backdrop of what is happening in Ukraine right now.
