Story

I will be taking part in the London Marathon in April 2023. (My place was deferred from October 2022 as GOSH are the leading charity next year April 2023). This is the challenge of a lifetime for me as I've not run much further than 5k... Ever.

I will be running (possibly crawling) in memory of my son Max who sadly passed away in August 2019 from a rare childhood cancer, a Malignant Rhabdoid Tumour. I am raising money for Great Ormond Street hospital as this was our home while Max was poorly, he spent most of his life here and I have many fond memories with him in this hospital. This place is incredible for all the work they do, they gave us the chance to watch Max grow, they gave us our memories and they save so many children every single day.

I am so grateful for the support.... I'm simply just being a mother to my son in the only ways I now can.

Remembering Max The Brave, my tiny hero.
