Story

** Update!  I will be running in the delayed 2021 London Marathon in October! **

** May 29th, 1000 LEi (£175) donated for my birthday through Facebook.  Thank you! **

I wasn't planning on running London 2020, but then my sister (whose birthday is on race day!) landed a ballot place, and I decided I needed something to help get me fit after months of being lazy. So, here we go again...!

Running has been tough in recent months as I have been receiving treatment for a lower back issue, but I am determined to get past that, get fit again, and get to London in April ready to run.

There were a number of charities I could have run for, but I have chosen to support United Response. They provide invaluable support services for adults and young people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or physical disabilities. They also support people suffering with dementia, an awful condition that my Dad struggled with. I really do want to help them all I can.

Please consider donating a few quid, safe in the knowledge you'll be helping a fantastic cause, as well as spurring me on to train in the cold Winter months. I'll be earning every penny on behalf of the charity, I can promise that!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for your support.
