The charity ‘Brightest Star’ has been established to help bereaved parents, who have sadly lost a child, to get through their deepest darkest days.   

Unfortunately not every Mother and Father will have the opportunity to buy gifts, advent calendars and decorate the tree with their much loved son/daughter.  They will have to try and survive Christmas without attending school concerts, choosing a party outfit and the ‘Santa’ visit.  No drink for Santa or carrots for the reindeer. 
No Christmas photos for the album, no hugs or excited faces.

We all hope and pray that we never experience this nightmare.  Hold your child tight and make Christmas magical with your children.

Oscar’s passing has had an enormous affect on our small community.  Please consider making a small Christmas donation to this charity to help other families who may experience this tragic loss.
