I have a colleague and good friend who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. We all know people whether; friends, family or colleagues, who have been affected by cancer in one way or another and I've been spurred on at this point to do something to raise some money for a great charity. Amanda Muir and I are going to do a zip slide over the River Clyde, I'm just going to have to get over my fear of heights as evidenced recently at Go Ape! I'll just remind myself how amazingly strong and brave my friend has been!

The zip slide is from a 150ft mobile crane which is set up next to the Finnieston crane and the distance travelled is just over 1000ft to a landing site over the River Clyde. Now I thought that I would be jumping off the Finnieston Crane, so I checked the height of that vs the mobile crane and there is only 15ft difference, so realistically it's still very high!

Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. If you feel able to donate any money towards this cause, it would be greatly appreciated.
