My good friend Henry Head and his wife had their third child this summer, a little girl called Orla.  They discoverved she has hearing difficulties and scans show brain abnormalities, the future impact of which is unknown.

Until now I was unaware of CMV even though CMV is very common and usually harmless.  More needs to be done to understand CMV and the support given by CMV Action is vital to help families affected.

To try to help I have entered my third half marathon after a gap of only 35 years to raise much needed money for this excellent cause.
