As promised - some pictures of a successful marathon finish... there is even a video of my slow hobble to the line.  

Thank you to Lorie and Candace who were my running buddies in the picture and made the 5 hrs 29 mins pass so much quicker.  

Now some would argue that this is 39 minutes slower than my time in 2008.... however I've read that at my weight every 2 pounds of weight is worth about 5 minutes of time over a marathon.  

Given I am 20 pounds heavier than 2008 I'm believing that actually gives a weight equalized time of 4hrs 40 minutes...  meaning a 10 minute improvement & I'm clearly fitter than ever.   So worth a pat on the back then :-)

Seriously though - thank you to all of you who sponsored me -  your support & what I was running for really helped me in the dig-deep period between mile 20 and 26.

Oh I do apologize for the nipple pic.... but I did promise.  You get what you pay for with the Pickups...
