We support those experiencing disadvantage to make and sustain positive life changes
Story
Dear Friends acquaintances and those of you scratching your head thinking who the heck is this.
As I hit 50 in May it was an opportunity to reflect and seek out new challenges and new experiences for the next 50 years.
With this in mind I have decided to complete some long distance swimming challenges over the next few years. The first one is to swim the Firth of Forth crossing on the 22-09-2018.
I am swimming and raising funds for an organisation called the Venture Trust, they are an outdoor education charity based in Edinburgh that provide life changing experiences for young people.
My Hobbies and pastimes over the last 35 years has been about getting young people out into the mountains, lakes and seas and giving them experiences they will never forget. Hopefully in a good way😁.
In the next day or so i will be providing details of my Just Giving page with more information than you probably want or need and a concerted plea for your hard earned money.
My fundraising Target is £1800 so if every one who likes me can donate a tenner I only have to raise another £1790
Please share this far and wide with those who know me but may not be connected on FB or Twitter.
PM directly if you would like to discuss this further or if you can offer any support on the day.
