Story
MediaCom North Group is dedicated to raise a whopping £15,000 for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust this year. When our target is reached we will be able to get a leaf on The Tree of Hope in memory of the courageous Mollie McKenna who sadly passed away last year.
Mollie died on the 30th of June 2013
aged 14. She had battled against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia for over 5
years. Despite the horror of her illness and treatment she was very
positive and always looked forward. Her calm and gentle manner throughout
her ordeal remains a constant inspiration to her family on a daily basis.
After the success of the 30 runners in the BUPA Manchester 10k this May
we had several cycle events to add to our fundraising: BUPA
Manchester Cycle, Manchester to Blackpool Cycle and this weekend is the Manchester
100k/m Cycle.
In an effort to hit our £15k target
12 boys and girls from Mediacom are out on the roads of Cheshire this Sunday
31st August taking the Manchester 100 cycle challenge. 3 brave souls are
tackling 100 miles whilst 8 others including Mollies dad Declan and brother
Fergal are doing 100k.
If you would like to make a donation to spur on our brave crew it would be gratefully received.
Many thanks
