Story

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, my brother John died on 2 April 2018.  He was only 52.  The Fishermen's Mission provided fabulous support to him in the final months of his life and this assistance has continued to help Amanda and Nico since then.

I would like to raise as much money as possible to support the fantastic work of the Mission and I hope that with your generosity, I will be able to raise a substantial sum.  I am also hoping to make a separate donation to Kirkcudbright Hospital as that is where John spent his final days under the wonderful care of the local nurses and healthcare professionals.

I have never before attempted a Marathon and am excited and nervous about the prospect.  But I am determined to give it a proper go and know that doing it in John's memory in the city of Edinburgh will provide no greater motivation.

Whatever amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you again for all your good wishes.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
