Story
We are supporting Sarcoma UK through the Becky Punton Fund. Becky's smile and positivity was infectious, a lovely young lady who was happiest when spending time with family and friends, but sadly passed away in 2019 following a sarcoma diagnosis. Her family hope her legacy brings people together to raise funds and awareness of the vital work of Sarcoma UK.
Sammy, only a few years older than Becky, in his early 30's was diagnosed in 2020 after discovering a tumour on his leg. We are grateful to all medical staff who operated and continue to care for Sammy.
Also remembering others whose lives are affected by sarcoma.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting us, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you for your support, be it financial or encouraging us as we train or run on the 29th.
