On Sunday 24th March 2019, less than two years ago, Max completed a 75 mile Ride Back with the Mid Devon Cycling Club from Glastonbury to Cranbrook near Exeter. Less than 2 years later he is no longer with us. Neurone Disease is dreadful and though, as in the case of Professor Stephen Hawkins, it can still lead to a long but seriously inhibited life it can also mean a rapid decline in a person’s physical capabilities.

Sadly, in the first few days of February 2021 Max’s body was no longer able to handle this condition. Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to his wife Ninette and the family.
