Hi my Name is John Fleming and I am the head coach of Mill Utd 2005 boys club from the Hamilton area. We train at the Hamilton palace and play our league games at Ravenscraig. Every year we do some sort of fund raising and this year we decided to host a festival of football, this will take place in Motherwell at the Ravenscraig sports centre on the 31st of August 2013! We have decided to host this event in memory of a young boy who sadly lost his battle against meningitis last year, Caden Beggan. Cadens story touch most people in our area and further a field and everyday we would wait to read his families post on Facebook in hope of Some good news. Caden also went to my kids school and they would come home everyday again with a story from everyone wishing Caden and his family love and kindness. Sadly Caden lost his battle, so I as a coach, person, husband and dad thought that as a team we could make a difference and do something fantastic and try raise some money and donate it to this amazing little boys fund. The festival will attract almost 900 kids playing football from 9am to 5.30pm withs ages from 4 to 9 taking part. Please Donate what you can for a fantastic cost!
