On 19th January I’m attempting to cycle 54 miles indoors - equivalent to London-Brighton hopefully in 3 hours! 

I’m  raising money for my beloved Aunty Hazel who was a massive inspiration  - most of you would  have known how special she was to me. Those of you who didn’t get to meet her, she was a woman of unimaginable determination. Suffering  from multiple sclerosis since her early 30’s I don’t think I ever heard Hazel complain once, instead I only have lasting memories of her smiling and laughing due to her wicked sense of humour and incredible strength of character.  Whilst this disease was so terribly debilitating, she never gave up. Hazel will always be  the  driving force which has inspired me and so many others to raise funds for Aims2Cure.  

As you may know, Aims2Cure was set up in 1999 and raises money for research into the cause and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Additionally to this, through our Michele Elster Fund, we help improve the quality of life of those with Multiple Sclerosis by providing pieces of equipment and services to both individuals and local MS therapy centres . In 2019, Aims2Cure will be 20 years old and we are delighted that this event will kick off our anniversary year.
