We fund research & information support to improve the lives of patients & families

Story

In May 2015 Molly was full of smiles but exhausted. She had a sore throat, a headache and a badly blocked nose. She was having difficulty breathing, so we went to St George's hospital and within a couple of days we were in St James wing GICU.

Within a week , we were told she had a life threatening disease, Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis. This is a rare blood disease that destroys and attacks anything and everything indiscriminately and unpredictably. The GICU became our home as we watched unrivalled dedication and teams of specialists, nurses and supporting staff fight so hard to save Molly's life. Molly battled on life support for 6 grueling weeks of chemotherapy and complex care. We lost her on July 1.  She was 19.

We have chosen these charities so that the GICU can get what they need for early diagnosis and that research can be funded to try to find a cure.

This is our lasting legacy to an undilutedly gorgeous girl and a means of holding her energy in the preseant and keeping her smile eternal in or lives whilst helping others.
