Story

Hi Everybody,

Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page. As many of you are aware, two years ago i lost my sister to cancer. For the last year or so,  Abbie and myself have been training hard three times a week. We have now  decided to run the Plymouth Half Marathon, 13.1 miles of pure pain, on May 19th 2019.

We have decided to run for a local Cancer charity called the Plymouth and Cornwall Cancer Fund as this is a cause close to both of us. Plymouth and Cornwall Cancer Fund offer support to cancer patients throughout the Plymouth and Cornwall area.  This is a great local charity and they need as much support as we can give them. This is why we have set a target of £300 that we hope you can help us reach? If you can not give money any messages of support would be appreciated, we will need them

Anybody in Plymouth on 19th May 2019 who would like to come and support us we will be finishing on Plymouth Hoe,  hopefully some time after 11am. Afterwards everyone is  welcome  to join us for a drink on the Barbican.

Thanks to all our families and friends who have/and continue to  support us.

About the charity

Plymouth & Cornwall Cancer Fund is a local charity which supports local people affected by cancer and the establishments that provide treatment and care. We do this through hardship grants, funding research projects and equipment, training & education, and supporting complimentary staffing posts
