Story
Let’s join together and do something fun , productive and highlight the amazing work Mummy’s star do. What better time to do this than during “cancer and pregnancy awareness week”.
We are a group of Mummy’s and families who want to highlight awareness of “cancer and pregnancy” and the wonderful charity that is “Mummy’s Star”.
A charity that during our darkest times have supported us however we have needed it and given us a group to share our stories , love and understanding with each other.
Our star day can be joined in by anyone! Big stars and of-course our special little stars, grans and grandpas, poochy pals and neighbours! So please share and get families around the country involved. It doesn’t have to be a big thing it can be one thing like wearing a starry top? Or you can go the full say/week and make magic star wands with your little ones , twinkle stars to hang up, star biscuits or cakes - let’s turn on our creative heads and go star crazy. I have collected a few Pinterest ideas to help start us off and added them to this page below, you can also follow the link to this Pinterest page of ideas -

Thank you in advance 💙🌟
To support the charity in the best possible way we are asking for £5-£10 to join in with the themed day! I have looked and If all our members could join in or even share , donate to the event we could give back to Mummy’s Star a substantial amount they will have no doubt lost because the COVID 19 pandemic !
Let’s do our best to give this Amazing charity the boost it needs ! Let’s make others aware that cancer during and after pregnancy is real and happens!
Mummy's Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to supporting pregnancy through cancer and beyond. Your donation means that women diagnosed with any cancer during pregnancy or within a year of a birth are able to reach Mummy's Star and the specialised support they offer. They help families to meet others in a similar position, offer small grants to relieve some financial burden, give support to partners and the wider family, promote awareness and support research. Thank you!
