WE DID IT!! A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored me! It was an incredible day with sun, torrential rain and a wind on top of the White Horse. The atmosphere was incredible and the walk was brilliantly organised. The beautiful and magnificent Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circle bookended the walk and Helga and I kept each other going through our personal toughest bits. It was an honour and a privilege and something that I will remember for a very long time. Thank you all for helping me surpass my target.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Many of you sponsored me last year when I did a 5k race for life and raised over £1000 for cancer research. Since that time I have lost a number of friends and acquaintances to cancer. Jenny was my very dear friend from school and she battled a brain tumour with courage, grace and humour for almost 2 years. She was and always will be a great inspiration to me and in this our 50th year I wanted to do something to honour her memory. I am walking with a very dear new(ish) friend and colleague, Helga Henry, who is also 50 this year.
