We tragically lost our little boy Adam in August 2009, but Adam's last days were made as comfortable as possible by the help and support of all in the LGI Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Since we lost Adam we have raised over £10,000 which has been put to good use by LGI PICU and also the Calderdale Hospital Special Care Baby Unit where Adam was cared for at birth.

Last year a group of 12 of us took on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge. At breakfast the morning afterwards we talked about taking it to the next level and trying the National 3 Peaks. Well, almost exactly a year on, we are giving it a go!

This time, nine of us (Steve Milner, Paul Crabtree, Peter Johnson, Scott Thomson, Simon Longfellow, Rob Farr, Gordon Longfellow, Ian Green, and Dan Murray) will be tackling the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafel Pike and Snowdon) on Friday/Saturday 1st/2nd June.

Starting at 5pm at Ben Nevis the challenge is to complete all three mountains (including driving) in 24 hours. We will be ably supported by Kevin Hartley and John Milner as drivers/support team.
