Too old! Too fat! Well many of you know that I do like a nice lunch!

That's on hold as I am in training for the Property Race Day at Ascot on Friday 12th July 2019 where I will attempting the straight mile in the last race of the day.

Training has gone really well. Jockey fitness test at Newmarket passed! 2 Stone lighter, but a little more to go!

Whilst I have ridden all my life, riding in a flat race down the famous straight mile at Ascot is something I could only dream of.  I am extremely grateful to Dean Ivory who is kindly allowing me to ride out for him to get a taste of what race riding is all about.

I am raising money for WellChild the national UK charity making it possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of hospital, wherever possible.
