My amazing dad, Neil, died suddenly whilst on Holiday with the family in August of last year. He was a brilliant surgeon, a great friend to many but above all a passionate and loving husband and father. We know that he is greatly missed by all. We therefore wanted to honour his life and are taking part on The Rugby Restart Alpine Challenge in September. A trek over three peaks, in three countries in three days. We will cover more than 60km, ascend a total of 4,500 m (the same as climbing to to the summit of Kilimanjaro) and walk through Italy, Switzerland and France.  

We are doing this to raise money for Restart Rugby who work to support professional rugby players who have suffered serious illness or injury, but we are also doing this to remember Neil and celebrate his life. We know if he were around he would wholly support this charity and this event -  rugby, mountains and the family.
