Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page;

In November this year I am due to take on the challenge of competing at World's Toughest Mudder in Las Vegas. I don't usually raise money through racing but this is one daunting event that is going to push me to my limits mentally and physically. For anyone that hasn't heard of this before- the race is set over 24 hours and runners must complete as many laps as possible. This year I am aiming to hit 50 miles- the equivalent of almost 2 marathons- which seems very scary to me as I could never imagine completing even one single marathon!

I want to raise money for Angus Riding for the Disabled as it was a charity very special to an amazing lady who suddenly passed away earlier this year. Cath was a truly inspirational person and always had an infectious smile with her wherever she went. She continued to support me in everything I did after the skating days were left behind and was one of the most genuine, caring and funny people I have ever met.

Angus RDA provide horse riding for people with disabilities- physical or learning- in a fun, safe environment. The work they do is invaluable and can change the lives of disabled people enormously.

If you want to find out for information on Angus RDA here is a link to their website and Facebook page:

In addition to taking on WTM, I am also set to compete in the Red Bull 400 race in Germany- the world's steepest 400m running race! And will be tackling many other obstacle course races in between.

I would love if you could donate to this amazing charity in memory of Cath, no amount is too small :-).

Love,

Nicola
