I am raising funds for Odyssey so that they are able to continue providing their incredible courses free of charge to people who are recovering from, or living with cancer.

I have had the honour to work for Odyssey as an instructor and know at first hand how inspirational their week long courses can be. It has been deeply rewarding to share in the life-enhancing awareness that folks have gained through their Odyssey course experiences. 

It roughly costs £1000.00 to provide a place for an Odyssey course participant. I would very much like to raise funds to enable up to ten people benefit from attending one of these incredible courses. I sincerely hope that you are willing to help me do this. Thank you.

The challenge I am undertaking is a unique approach to the well known Three Peaks Challenge - to climb the mountains of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in the fastest time possible. These are of course the highest summits in Wales, England and Scotland respectively. The distance I will kayak will be 870km (540 miles). I will set out on my challenge from Aberdovey in mid-Wales and finish at Loch Eil, close to Fort William in Scotland. I will be kayaking solo and I hope that friends will join me for the mountain legs. I am an experienced sea kayaker and mountaineer, so I will pay close attention to my safety throughout the challenge.
