Willen Hospice is a charity which provides specialist care to patients and support for their families which Nicki and Sally have both experienced the help and support they give.  The NHS only contributes 22% of the total running costs which means Willen Hospice needs to raise over £3.6 million a year to continue providing the quality services and Nicki and Sally would like to help them.

Nicki's brother Ben suffered from a brain tumour and sadly died in 2009 In Willen Hospice at the age of 44.  The care and support  received by Ben and his family was invaluable.

Sally's mother was a volunteer at Willen Hospice until she herself was diagnosed with cancer.  She continued receiving support and help from Willen throughout her illness until she unfortunately died a month after her 60th birthday.

Nicki and Sally would like to give something back to Willen for all the help they have received by running the London marathon and raising as much money as they can.

We will be training through the winter months so please dig deep as this is probably going to be our last marathon as we are getting a bit old for this!
