We fund life-changing and life-saving work to support cancer patients at The Christie

Story

On Sunday, Finlay, Claudia, Saskia and Elliott will be running to raise money for The Christie. We've shaken the tin a few times in the last couple of years for this wonderful hospital and charity, but if you would like to sponsor them, we, and The Christie charity would be very grateful.

In 2018, my lovely friend, Gill Winterton was diagnosed  with breast cancer, aged 38. She was treated at The Christie and she too is running, competing in the 10k race to raise money for them. Between my four children,  they will run 8k  in total, the eldest two 2.5 k each, and the youngest two 1.5k each. Many mutual friends have already generously donated to Gill's page for the same charity, and we intend to link these pages (when I work out how!) However, if you would like to sponsor these four little superstars in their sporting endeavour, we would be very grateful. The Christie is an important place for our family. My late father, their loving grandfather, received expert, wonderful treatment there,  and we want to show our gratitude for that, and all they have done for Gill, and continue to do for family members currently receiving care there.
