Before his tragic death following an explosion in Afghanistan, Ant Downing was an incredible endurance athlete. One of his (many) impressive feats was cycling 3091 miles across the USA 
 from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean in 25 days.

This summer 2016 I aim to repeat Ant's achievement, following the same route and matching his time. In the process I hope to raise money for Help for Heroes, a brilliant charity which does amazing work looking after wounded servicemen and their families.
