Story
Hello people of the world, Merci beaucoup, danke sehr, gracias, khop khun kha, arigato, mahalo and thank you,for taking the time to browse through our invigorating challenge and for following the story as it unfolds.
We have chosen to honour the cause of GVI charitable trust predominantly on the basis that I (Oli), as many of you may know, have had firsthand experience with the parent organisation and have seen some of the great work unfold beneath my very own eyes. At the bottom of the page I have included a link to the charitable trusts web-site and, if you so wish, you can read their full story. It is truly energising.
I think, in such an uncertain world, this charity and it’s all-inclusive approach of offering young people from every corner of the globe a chance is somewhat of a breath of fresh air. The answer to many of universe’s mysteries may lie in the minds of the youth, so what better way to help than to offer opportunities to those who may not usually have that accelerated chance in life that others do. Teaching those who think education is out of their reach was one of the experiences that has shaped who am I today and has certainly sculpted a path for my future endeavours. It was, as one might say, life changing. I want that chance to be offered on the global scale that GVI is attempting to reach. These people are the powerhouse of our future and I’m not sure about you, but if I can lead by example hopefully it will unveil as the polar opposite of what people imagine by the butterfly affect, and unleash a different way of thinking.
I could seriously waffle on and on forever about how excellent I think charities such as GVI are for doing the work they do. But it’s also an absolutely symbiotic experience: all parties benefit from such a collaboration. It is not simply helping those in need but it is also helping the people giving aid to grow individually and adding to a growing network of change-motivated superstars. 'Charity" is implied to all those involved.
On a final note, if any one wants share any of their personal experiences, has any questions regarding GVI as a trust or the organisation, tempted by an opportunity they offer, please do hesitate to get touch I will be more than willing to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
Apart from that, Peace out guys.
Love from,
Oli and The Boys
