We fund medical research to get better survival rates

Story

A year ago three of us at school hit upon the idea of cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise funds for charities close to our heart. This 1,000 mile journey will take us from the 3rd July to around the 18th July.

My Grandfather suffered from throat cancer for 7 years, passing away on 20 June 2004.  I am hoping to raise funds in his memory to facilitate more research into this horrible illness and also to make a contribution to the cost of treatment for others suffering from this disease. It would be great if my efforts were to have a beneficial effect on those suffering from throat cancer.

The Throat Cancer Foundation have set out to help many, by both raising awareness of this illness and working towards making the lives of those who suffer in this way a great deal better. Any money donated to by The Throat Cancer Foundation would greatly aid the magnificent work of this charity.
