I work as a Teaching Assistant in a school for pupils with special educational needs. Over the last year I have become close to Ellis Holland and his family who I care for 2 evenings each week. He is a 19 yr old man who has severe epilepsy & learning difficulties & has been cared for so well by  all the staff of Ward 78; his longest spell in their care was for 12 months when he was seriously ill and needed all their skill and intervention to help him pull through. Alongside the unwavering love and care of  his family he is now stronger than ever and I am so proud to know him and be able to care for him to my best ability. My time with him is more than work... his smile is infectious & unforgettable....his kisses are as welcomed as are his little wacks he gives me. In short..he is so close to my heart & such a loving young man.
