Story

The following group of OpenBet employees (plus a couple of guests) are riding 250 miles to Paris in three days to raise money for beating Bowel Cancer. Some of us will then ride straight back again - in 24 hours!

We'll be blogging our way there and back on the following link - www.openbetcharitywork/londonparis/

Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK and the second most common killer but early diagnosis can have a huge impact on the chances of survival. Importantly, if you have one close relative with a history of bowel cancer, your chances of one day being diagnosed with it are doubled. If you have two, it is quadrupled.

Sadly, due to fear, lack of knowledge or, often, embarrassment, early diagnosis is not always made, frequently with tragic consequences. The charity, 'Beating Bowel Cancer' works to raise awareness in order to improve early diagnosis and therefore save lives. They also provide practical and emotional support for those affected by the disease.

We are funding this event ourselves. Anything you can give will be going straight to the charity so you can be sure that your donation will make a difference.

Thanks for reading this.
