Devastatingly and very recently our dear friend Phil lost his mother Rosemary following a four year long battle with ovarian cancer. In her final weeks of life she was cared for at Queenscourt Hospice in Southport, a local charity who provide services to seriously ill patients, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. Amazingly, the services the charity provide are all free; the staff treated her with the respect, dignity and love she deserved after fighting her brave battle for so long. For this, Phil’s family will be forever grateful.

As a thank you, myself, Phil and the rest of the lads are looking to raise as much money as possible for Queenscourt, which will hopefully go a little way to ensure this fantastic level of care can continue for other's who, unfortunately, have to go through similar experiences. To raise this money, on Sunday 1^st of May 2022 we will all be undertaking the National 3 Peaks Challenge, scaling 3 of the highest peaks in the British Isles; Ben Nevis in Scotland (1,344m), Snowdon in Wales (1,085m) and Scafell Pike in England (978m). The challenge is to undertake all 3 peaks within a 24 hour window, including the extensive travel between each.
