Story
It would take only a minute or two of knowing Paige to catch wind of her kind, charitable nature. Her drive to better the world and to glorify God was unbreakable, and her glowing, loving spirit was contagious. One year, for Christmas, Paige asked her mom to donate money to a charity that reminded people of her instead of buying her a Christmas present. Paige lived a life entirely devoted to giving - and reading books. So many books.
In the wake of the tragedy that took the life of our sweet Paige, her brother, Trevor, and his Delta Phi Sigma fraternity brothers from Virginia Tech have taken it upon themselves to not only pursue their “little sister’s” dream, but to exceed even her highest expectations in doing so. “Pages for Paige” is an organization made to honor Paige and the life she lived by raising funds for books to be given to kids in the Middle East and Africa.
Paige put the entire world above herself, and she would want nothing more than for her light to shine just as brightly as it did during her lifetime.
Please join us in honoring Paige by spreading her love of reading across the globe. We will be raising funds in Paige's name for Book Aid International. Please follow the Learn More button or go to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/PagesforPaige.
Distributing books to libraries, schools, hospitals, prisons, refugee camps and rural communities, Book Aid International works to encourage literacy and access to reading materials in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Since its founding in 1954, the NGO has sent roughly 30 million books to underserved areas.
