In September 2015 one of my closest friends sadly lost her mum,  so I made the decision to raise some money for the unit that supported her and her family through the devastating time.

It is such a horrible thought that almost everyone has been affected by cancer in some way, Colin's (my order half) dad is currently receiving treatment for bowel cancer, his auntie had the same, my dad had prostate cancer, my grandad passed away from cancer, that's just the two of us, it's scary to think how limited the treatment would be without everyone's efforts to raise money for such fantastic causes.

Which is why with the help of 2 of my boys we have decided to sign up for the 5x50 challenge, where we will walk or cycle 5k each day for 50 consecutive days. 

Starting on Sunday 27th March I will upload our progress daily with the final day being Sunday 15th May.

This charity is close to many of our hearts and all money donated goes direct to the charity.
