Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Morton 50 Day Challenge to help raise funds for Morton in the Community and Bloodwise.  As you know my daughter Gemma works for Morton Community Trust so this is a great way for me to show my support.  I am also raising funds for the charity Bloodwise.

Bloodwise funds world class research into all types of blood cancer.  They fund research to change lives of people living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers.  This is the 3rd biggest cancer killer.

Bill Millar was a special man who came into our lives 2 years ago when he was in the same ward as my dad, Bob Graham.  A wonderful friendship was formed between both of them and continued when they returned home.  Bill, along with his wife Julie met regularly with my mum and dad for coffee and chat.  Although Bill suffered from ill health he never lost his sense of humour and his enthusiasm for life.  Before he passed away I asked what charity he would like me to raise funds for and he chose Bloodwise.  In his memory please help us to help others.
