Pat, my mother, suffered from a short illness through June and July.  She was fortunate in not suffering pain, but did have a number of other challenges to overcome.  She touched the lives of many on this final short journey at the end of a long life.  She spent her final days as she had wished at home, which was only possible because of the wonderful care provided by the NHS and the incredible skills and compassion of the Rennie Grove Hospice Nurses and District Nurses.  She passed away  peacefully and serenely as she would have wished at her beloved cottage.
