Story
I've decided to raise some money for my favourite charity by riding my motorcycle from John O'Groats to Lands End, and then on to Weston-Super-Mare, a distance of over 1,000miles on the shortest day of the year - 21st December.
I'll be taking the memory of my brother, Mick, with me as he would have turned 55 just 4 days before the ride, and I know he'd have loved the challenge of the ride too.
Please donate generously to this great cause - without the volunteers involved and the money you give, the NHS would have to pay a fortune for this essential service. The Blood Bikers all do it for free!
Blood Bikes Manchester is a charity setup in Greater Manchester that transports Blood, Plasma, Platelets, Samples, Vaccines, Donor Breast Milk (DBM) & any other urgently required medical items to hospitals - at night, daytime weekends* and bank holidays. This service is provided completely free of charge by our amazing volunteers who all offer their time for no pay or reward, allowing the NHS to divert funds where they are needed most.
