Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 7th November 1982 I witnessed my Dad having a fatal heart attack. He was 45 and I was only 7! He left behind a son (7), daughter (3) and a distraught wife. The images I saw still haunt me to this day. Now faced with the thought of that one of my own daughters is turning 7 shortly, the realisation of life’s fragility set home. I bet every father has had that thought…..What if?
With this in mind myself and 3 friends have decided to set out and raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This will aid their important research which will hopefully help more families be able to have more time with one another, not snatched away.
We will be taking part in the London to Brighton trek – that’s 64miles in 30 hours, NON STOP - on the 21st & 22nd June 2014.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
